Following a press conference in the State Capitol, No Kids In Cuffs is making the news in a big way throughout the state!

We’re proud of how far our policy has come, with bipartisan support and a coalition of almost 40 faith and community organizations.

Restraining students should be limited in Texas schools to prevent abuse, advocates urge:  Lawmakers want tighter rules on restraints that often impact students with disabilities more than peers.
Use of child restraints in Texas schools prompts calls for reform. Parents appeared Monday at the Texas Capitol to share how their children have been harmed by being physically restrained at school.
