We Build Relationships
Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand if he cannot, then with his tongue. If he cannot, then with his heart – and that would be the weakest of faith.”
Our mission is simple – build relationships with faith organizations and local government for the Muslim community, by focusing on multi-faith and civic engagement.
Our vision is to see every Muslim engaged in civic society alongside our community partners as the norm.
We’ll achieve our goals by capitalizing on the diversity of our city and focusing on three areas: community, advocacy, and communications.
Since 2009, we’ve focused on building and cultivating relationships to help engage the Muslim community at multiple levels of civic society.
Learning about one another by working with each other has proven time and again to be the best way to embrace the complexities and blessings of our incredible diversity.
Inspired by traditions of bridge-building and justice in Islam, we’re committed to joining with faith communities to advocate for issues of mutual interest, and we hope you’ll join us on this journey to change our world together.
