Minaret Foundation seeks enthusiastic and dedicated Brand Ambassadors to represent our organization at various events, distribute promotional materials, and engage with the community to raise awareness about Minaret’s work. As a Brand Ambassador, you will play a vital role in helping us connect with our target audience and create a positive impact in the community.

This remote position will generally be performed on the weekends, except for conferences during the weekdays. Our organization is hiring for this position in Austin, Dallas, and Houston.

Relevant experience is not required. You will be provided training with other staff to help you transition into this role.

General Responsibilities:

  • Event Representation: Attend community events, festivals, and gatherings to represent Minaret Foundation. Engage with event attendees and communicate our organization’s mission and initiatives effectively.
  • Promotional Material Distribution: Distribute flyers, brochures, and other promotional materials at designated venues and events to raise awareness about Minaret Foundation’s programs and services.
  • Community Engagement: Initiate conversations with community members, answer questions about Minaret’s work, and encourage individuals to get involved or support our initiatives.
  • Networking: Build and maintain positive relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders to enhance Minaret Foundation’s visibility and collaborations.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on activities, including the number of promotional materials distributed and community feedback received.

Required Qualifications:

  • Respect, appreciation, and/or curiosity for ALL faith traditions, ideologies, and political leanings.
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing personality and passion for community engagement and social change.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet project milestones and deadlines.
  • Creative and innovative; the ability to see alternatives and solutions.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and operate with little oversight and minimal direction.
  • Availability to work as needed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with advance notice. 

Compensation and Benefits

This position is part-time and will be paid on a sliding scale between $15 – $25/hour. It can be two hours a week up to 10 hours, depending upon events throughout the week, but primarily on the weekend. All organizational expenses will be paid by Minaret Foundation.
