The Child Welfare Public Policy (CWPP) Committee is a dedicated group made up of people of faith that focuses on advocating for and shaping policies related to child welfare. Our committee plays a role in influencing future legislation and initiatives that impact the well-being and safety of children. We collaborate, discuss, and provide valuable insights on child welfare public policies through virtual meetings.
The CWPP Committee convenes monthly, utilizing virtual platforms to facilitate meaningful and efficient discussions. During these meetings, committee members engage in in-depth conversations, drawing upon their diverse expertise and experiences. We explore various topics, including child protection, foster care, mental health, adoption, family support services, education, and legislation affecting children’s rights. Through thoughtful analysis and examination, we aim to provide informed advice and recommendations for future bills and policies.
