The second Muslim choir in the nation, our youth choir will bring together boys and girls in 4th through 6th grade from all over Houston. With a focus on acapella (vocals only) rooted in Americana, we fully expect our choristers to perform at conferences, athletic games, banquets, civic ceremonies, and more.
We’re hosting our Parent’s Information Night on Thursday, October 8th from 6:30p – 7:30p. Meet our Choir Director, parents from our program, and our steering committee. Learn more about what we have in store, and ask all your questions.
Not only will they learn a new skill, but it will also be a great place for youth to meet new friends, participate in challenging environments, and have a deeper connection to the community. During rehearsals, they will learn vocal skills, choral theory, teamwork, and conquer any fear of standing in front of an audience. Prior choral experience isn’t necessary!

Our Choir Director, Ryan Rogers, has a vast amount of instructional experience with children from Kindergarten to 12th grade. Not only is he the choir director for North Shore High School, but he was also a part of the prestigious ‘Men of Moores’ choral group at the University of Houston where he attained his Bachelors in Music. He also serves on the exclusive Palmer Memorial Episcopalian Choir, one of the oldest in Houston and has performed around the world with several choral groups.
