The Two Q’s Food Insecurity (TQFI) Policy Committee is a dedicated group made up of people of faith that convenes virtually once a month to address the critical issue of food insecurity. Our committee’s primary focus is to engage in thoughtful and collaborative discussions about specific food insecurity initiatives driven by healthcare managers and workers. This specific policy will aim to include a brief two-question food insecurity assessment during the intake process in healthcare settings and subsequently provide information about SNAP enrollment through digital resources.
The TQFI Policy Committee plays a pivotal role in shaping and advocating for food insecurity policies that positively impact our community and beyond. Composing a diverse group of healthcare workers, stakeholders in the healthcare industry, or people in academia, this committee serves as a strategic nexus where innovative ideas converge with real-world experience.
