If you’re on your own or with a group, we’d love for you to come visit a mosque! We’ll take you on a tour of one of our nearby centers, answer your questions, and if you come during prayers, you’ll have a chance to observe us in action. If you go into the prayer halls, we would ask you to take off your shoes, and place them on our shoe rack. This is to prevent anything messy in the worship space.

We may convince you to visit a few Halal restaurants, but that’s it. The idea of mosque visits is to introduce you to our community centers, give you a sense of who your neighbors are, and allow you to ask any questions that may come to mind.

Yes! The same protocols you would have at any other house of worship: 1) no cursing or yelling, 2) no mention of any Dallas sports franchise, 3) no fireworks inside the worship space, and 4) absolutely no discussion covering the “benefits” of well-done burgers/steak.

When in the worship space, we give women the option to wear a light headcovering if they’d like. For both men and women, in order to enter the worship space, we ask that you wear modest clothing such as shorts/pants and a shirt.
