Raha Jafari, our Outreach and Program Manager, sat down with Sana Hanif the Chair of our Young Professionals Forum.

What inspired your decision to become part of Minaret Foundation and to take on the role of Chair for the Young Muslim Professionals?

• “I was inspired by the Senior leadership of Minaret. I want to take the time to learn from not only them but also the speakers who will be participating in our events.”

Although we haven’t had our first event yet, you have been a part of our organization for a while now. Can you please share with us about your journey and insights you have gained so far?

• “I have been really excited to help out in events and volunteer my time with Minaret Foundation.”

How do you envision this first Young Professionals event to go and what criteria would you use to measure its success?

• “At an event like this, many valuable opportunities and connections can be made between individuals. The biggest priority in organizing this event is creating an environment that facilitates those connections. I really hope to create a situation where the attendees feel as if they are connected to the guests, and they feel as if they can have open dialogue.”
